How to create an event

An event is one link for everything your guests do on the day: a live game session, a game played from one screen, a Q&A or a raffle. You create it from your dashboard, then add what people will do.

1. Create the event

1. Open your Dashboard or Events and select Create Event.
2. Give it a name, such as "Friday Team Social".
3. Choose Start now, or Schedule it and pick a date and a start time. Times are shown in your own time zone.
4. Select Continue.

The event is saved as a draft straight away, so you can leave and come back to it.

2. Add what your guests will do

Next, pick the event's first experience:

• Live Session: everyone plays on their phone while you run the big screen.
• One-Screen Session: you play from one screen, and nobody needs a phone.
• Live Q&A and Raffle come with every paid plan (a Party Plan, Pro or Enterprise) on a Business account. On a Personal account they show a lock until you switch to Business, and on the Free plan until you upgrade.
• Challenge shows a lock until your account and plan include it.

For a session, check its name, then choose Create from scratch, or Use a template to start with a running order of games ready. The first session starts with the event. Select Add Live Session (or Add One-Screen Session).

Add as many experiences as you like; everything is saved as you go. When you are finished, select Done to open the event's page.

3. On the day

Scheduled events wait on your dashboard under Scheduled Events, with a countdown to the start. Share gives you the event's link and QR code for your guests, and Open takes you to the host screen.

The Events page lists every event you have made. Filter them by status, open one with View event, or see how a finished one went with View Analytics.

On the Free plan you can run 5 sessions a month, and each experience in an event counts as one. The Events page shows how many you have left this month.
