The room goes silent. Everyone is staring at the host screen, working out their next guess. The first guess goes in: 1234. The host enters the feedback: one correct, two misplaced. The room re-runs the maths.
The next round of guesses comes in. Someone tries 4321. Someone else tries 5678. Each guess narrows the field. The host reveals the feedback. Someone scribbles on a napkin. Someone else has a spreadsheet open.
By round seven, someone leans back, smiles, and submits 8462. The host enters four correct, zero misplaced. The room loses its mind.

A pub quiz host needs a round that is not trivia. He plays Crack the Code on the projector. Eight tables compete to crack three codes. The fastest table wins free drinks. The pub fills up because word spreads.

Each person scans the QR code or taps the link, sees the game on their phone, and submits answers. The live scoreboard runs in real time on the big screen.
